The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
